Holiday lights for a Whistler Village storefront
In the Village, the holiday season is the busy season. A storefront that's lit properly gets noticed by everyone walking past.

This story describes a typical situation we see in Whistler, not one specific customer.
The situation
A shop owner in Whistler Village wanted the storefront lit for the winter season: the window frames, the awning edge and a pair of planters by the door. They didn't want any work happening during business hours, and the building's strata had rules about what could be attached to the facade.
They also needed the lights to survive weeks of snow and cold.
Working with the building
We check with the landlord or strata first: what can be attached, where outlets are, and any rules about timing or appearance. Nothing gets drilled into the building without written permission.
Installation is scheduled before or after opening hours to avoid disrupting customers.
How we install
Lights are secured with clips and fasteners suited to the surface, chosen so they hold through snow and wind but come off cleanly later. Cable runs are kept tidy and away from walkways, and connected to outdoor-rated outlets on timers.
We supply all the lights, custom-cut to the window frames and awning, with strands and bulbs matched to the storefront for a clean, uniform look. We don't install customer-supplied lights, and if anything fails during the season, we fix it.
After the season
Removal is booked at installation, after the busy holiday period, again outside business hours.
Questions we hear
Can you work outside our opening hours?
Yes. Early-morning or evening installation is standard for storefronts.
Do you need strata approval?
If the facade is common property, usually yes. We can work with your landlord or property manager on what's allowed.
