Glass railings facing the Chief: a Valleycliffe window clean
Some of the best views in Squamish are from decks in Valleycliffe, looking straight up at the Stawamus Chief. Smudged glass gets in the way fast.

This story describes a typical situation we see in Squamish, not one specific customer.
The situation
A newer home in Valleycliffe has a deck with frameless glass railings and a wall of windows facing the Chief. Between spring pollen, construction dust from nearby builds and a dog that loves the deck, the railings were covered in spots and nose prints, and the upper windows had a yellow film.
The owners wanted it all clean before hosting family for the summer.
How we approach it
- Upper windows are cleaned with a water-fed pole using purified water, which leaves no mineral spots as it dries. Frames and sills are scrubbed at the same time.
- The glass railings get hand cleaning on both sides with a squeegee and a final detail, taking care around the clamps and the deck boards.
- Interior windows were added to the same visit so the view was clear from inside as well.
- If there's paint, stucco or concrete splatter on the glass from construction, we remove it carefully with the right tools. If it's etched into the glass, we'll tell you.
Timing in Squamish
Pollen season can coat glass in days, so many Squamish homeowners book a window clean in late spring or early summer, once the worst of it has passed. Homes near ongoing construction may want a second clean later in the year.
Questions we hear
Can you clean the glass on both sides of the railing?
Yes, wherever it can be reached safely from the deck or the ground.
Do you clean skylights?
Usually, depending on roof pitch and access. We confirm when quoting.
