Window cleaning a Creekside rental between bookings
Guests notice dirty windows in the photos they take. For a rental near the Creekside gondola, timing is everything.

This story describes a typical situation we see in Whistler, not one specific customer.
The situation
A townhome near the Creekside base is rented out for most of the year. The owner lives in Vancouver, and the property manager handles cleaning between stays. A guest review mentioned the view being 'a bit foggy', which turned out to be dirty glass, not weather.
The windows hadn't been cleaned on the outside since the previous summer.
Working around guests
With rentals, the work has to fit into gaps between bookings. The property manager sends us the open dates and access details, and we schedule around them.
Exterior work can often be done even when guests are in, but interior windows need an empty unit.
How we approach it
- Upper exterior windows and the deck's glass railing are cleaned with a water-fed pole and purified water. Frames and sills are wiped down too.
- Interior glass and the sliding door are done by hand during a changeover, so the unit is ready for the next guests.
- We send photos when we're done, so the owner and manager can see the result without driving up.
Timing in Whistler
A clean before the summer season and another before winter, when the light is lower and every smudge shows, keeps a rental looking its best. Once it's freezing, we switch to interior glass until it warms up.
