Pressure washing a Benchlands patio when the home is on a well
Up on the slopes above the Pemberton valley, some properties rely on a well. That changes how we plan a pressure washing job.

The situation
A home in the Benchlands has a large paver patio with a view across the valley, a concrete walkway and a set of stone steps. After a few summers, the pavers have weeds and moss in the joints and the concrete has dark patches under the eaves.
The home is on a well, and the owner was worried about running it dry.
Planning around a well
Pressure washers need a steady water supply. Before the job, we talk through the well's flow and storage with the owner. Where the well can't keep up, we bring our own water, so the owner never has to worry about running it dry.
Either way, water is sorted out before booking, not on the day.
How we approach it
Pavers are cleaned at a lower setting to avoid blowing out too much joint sand, and weeds and moss are cleared from the joints. We'll tell you whether re-sanding is recommended.
Concrete is cleaned with a rotary surface cleaner. Stone steps get a test patch first and lower pressure if the stone is soft.
Run-off is directed away from gardens and downhill neighbours.

A patio and walkways that look cared for, with better footing on the steps, and no surprises on water use.

Yes. For properties on a well or with limited water supply, we can bring our own. Mention it when you request a quote.
Will cleaning wash out my paver sand?
Some joint sand loss is normal. We'll let you know if re-sanding is needed.
